Arriving soon
Captain Isadora (iz-uh-DOR-uh)
Calm, plain-spoken and steady.
Captain Isadora Vale kept the lighthouse on the point for longer than most folk can remember. On rough nights she trimmed the lamp, put the kettle on and read the cards for anyone who came in out of the weather.
She is at her best with stormy questions: change, uncertainty, and the times when it is hard to see the shore. Sit down by the lamp; she has seen worse weather than this.
“Come in out of the weather, love. Sit yourself down by the lamp. I’m Isadora…”
