Why we lit the candles

Most tarot apps hand you a card and a paragraph. That can be useful, but it isn’t much like sitting down with a reader: the hush of the room, the shuffle, the pause before a card turns over, a voice telling you what it sees.

The Candlelit Parlor is our attempt to bring that feeling to your phone. You pull up a chair, Esmé shuffles and deals, and she speaks your reading to you, card by card, by candlelight.

We keep it honest. The cards are drawn at random, and readings are for entertainment and reflection, never predictions or advice. What a reading can do is give you a quiet moment and a new way to look at a question you were already turning over.

We also keep it fair. Two readings a week are free for everyone, prices are plain, and cancelling takes one click.
